The two ON/OFF buttons can be independently setup, both for two different sound volume settings: one – lower, for more personal conversations, and the other –louder – for noisier environments (without disassembly). You simply have to switch from one button to the other.
The same buttons to regulate the sound volume can also be used to set two different levels of tone and volume, which will allow laryngectomees to change the pitch of their voice, to obtain greater accent, and have a more natural voice with just a slight rocking and sliding of the thumb.
